About our partners
Barts Health NHS Trust runs St Bartholomew’s Hospital, an internationally renowned teaching hospital in the City of London. Global Action Plan is an independent charity, committed to engaging people in finding practical solutions to environmental and social problems. They came together on this project to tackle air pollution in East London.
The film
Want to protect yourself and others from air pollution? This film shows how Bart’s Health NHS Trust and GAP tackled the problem of air pollution in East London. It outlines simple ways of avoiding and reducing air pollution without totally changing your life. It also shows how institutions and companies that rely on transport can make a big impact on air quality through simple initiatives such as encouraging their drivers not to leave their vehicles idling.
