5. Our Cognitive Cookie Policy

By using our website you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with the terms of this policy (see cookie policy below)

6. Our Email Newsletter

This website operates an email newsletter program, used to inform subscribers about news, products and services supplied by our company.

Users can subscribe through an online automated process should they wish to do so but do so at their own discretion. Some subscriptions may be manually processed through prior written agreement with the user. All personal details relating to subscriptions are held securely and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018.

Our email marketing campaigns are run through Mailchimp. Subscriptions are taken in compliance with UK Spam Laws detailed in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. Subscribers are given the opportunity to un-subscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email campaign.

Under GDPR you may request a copy of all personal information held about you by this website and its email newsletter programme. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to the business address at the bottom of this policy.

User email campaigns
We automatically place single pixel gifs, also known as web beacons, in every email newsletter sent by us through Mailchimp. These are tiny graphic files that contain unique identifiers that enable us to recognize when our newsletter subscribers have opened an email or clicked certain links. These technologies record each subscribers email address, IP address, date, and time associated with each open and click for a campaign, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity. This Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in the Mailchimp database for future analysis and evaluation. We use this data to create reports about how an email campaign performed and what actions subscribers took. This information is then used to refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based around their activity

7. Contact Forms

We use contact forms to get information from you should you wish us to call you back and keep in touch with you about our services. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, company name and phone number. All of this data is processed by SquareSpcae and sent to a data sheet

8. Purchasing

We sell some items as digital downloads and some as shipped products. We use Squarespace to administer the shopping cart and Stripe to administer our payment transactions through the website. We will only collect information relevant to allow Stripe to take a payment and for us to ship you the product. All transactions and bills will be held for the period required under HMRC VAT laws but we do not receive or retain the full credit card details ourselves.

If you pay for our services or products by credit or debit card other than through the website, for example over the telephone, we will use SagePay to process the transaction.  All transactions and bills will be held for the period required under HMRC VAT laws and all  card details will be destroyed when the transaction has been successfully completed.
